Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream-

This one is super simple… We use our 2 quart Quisinart ice cream maker which takes about 30 min total.

Ingredients:

2 cups milk (we use raw milk from our friends at Armagh Creamery)
1/2 cup of our honey or organic cane sugar… we prefer our fresh honey
1 pint container of heavy cream
3 drops of peppermint essential oil, using a brand safe for consumption (or 1tsp of vanilla if you don’t want mint)
Pinch of salt

Instructions:

Mix together the milk, heavy cream, cane sugar, and pinch of salt until the sugar starts to dissolve. Add in your peppermint essential oil, or vanilla extract and stir to combine.

Turn on your ice cream maker and slowly pour all the ingredients into your machine. Let mix for approximately 20 minutes. At that point if you want to add any mix-ins you can do this now. We like to add Enjoy Life brand mini chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips. Let the mixture mix for another 10-15 minutes or until you get to a consistency you like. That’s it! Serve and enjoy!
